FBLA Scholarship

TERMS

The scholarship is for high schools seniors who are members of the Future Business Leaders of America.

CONDITIONS

Students must meet qualifications, consisting of FBLA participation and past academic records as established by FBLA regulations.

Regional FBLA administrators will nominate the top 5 entrants for interviewing by staff of Penn Commercial.

APPLICATION PROCESS

Applicants may apply by completing the online scholarship application and remitting your application fee to the Admissions Office at Penn Commercial.

DEADLINE DATE

The scholarship deadline date is March 31 of any academic year for an award in the fall class of that year. 

BASIS FOR SELECTION

The top five entrants as selected by FBLA, will be interviewed by a three-member committee from Penn Commercial.  Selection will be based on academic record, FBLA participation, and interview success.

NUMBER

Two (2) scholarships will be awarded each year.

MAXIMUM/MINIMUM AWARD

The FBLA Scholarship will amount to 30% of tuition per quarter in the program being offered by the school.  This award will be credited to the student’s account by the School President.  The recipient must maintain a 2.0 GPA or the scholarship is forfeited.  The award must be used within one year.

AGGREGATE AWARD VOLUME

The aggregate award volume shall not exceed 30% of tuition per quarter each in any two business department program annually.A value is required.
