presidential Scholarship

TERMS

The scholarship is for students entering an Associate Degree Program of study at Penn Commercial.

CONDITIONS

Applicants for the Presidential scholarship at Penn Commercial must meet the following qualifications in order to qualify for the scholarship:

• Submitted application for admissions and $25 application fee
• Planning to enroll in an associate degree program at Penn Commercial

APPLICATION PROCESS

Applicants may apply by completing the online scholarship application and remitting your application fee to the Admissions Office at Penn Commercial.

DEADLINE DATE

The scholarship deadline date is May 1. 

BASIS FOR SELECTION

A committee from Penn Commercial will interview all applicants.  The student’s educational goals, success potential, commitment, financial need, and interview success will be evaluated.   Additionally, students’ academic scores or GED score will be reviewed.

NUMBER

Two (2) scholarships will be awarded each year.

MAXIMUM/MINIMUM AWARD

The Presidential Scholarship will amount to 50% of tuition per quarter in the program being offered by the school.  This award will be credited to the student’s account by the School President.  The recipient must maintain a 2.0 GPA and 85% attendance record or the scholarship is forfeited.

AGGREGATE AWARD VOLUME

The aggregate award volume shall not exceed 50% of tuition per quarter in any program annually.
